Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of Zonekey, an application for managing authorised Cloudflare zones and DNS records. The contractual partner is the operator named in the imprint. Zonekey lets signed-in users view, create, change and delete authorised Cloudflare DNS records; available functions depend on configuration, role and Cloudflare permissions.

You must provide accurate account details and protect your credentials, passkeys, recovery codes and devices. Notify us immediately through the imprint contact details if you suspect unauthorised access. Zonekey may only be used by persons aged 16 or older.

You may store only credentials and manage only Cloudflare resources for which you have the required authority. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and security of DNS records and for the consequences of changes, deletions and misconfigurations.

• Do not violate third-party rights, bypass security measures, disrupt the service or process unlawful content.
• Do not share your account or attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Keep Cloudflare tokens secure and rotate a token immediately if it may be compromised.

Zonekey is currently provided free of charge. Availability may be interrupted for maintenance, security measures, Cloudflare dependencies or technical faults. There is no entitlement to continuous availability, a particular response time or compensation for downtime. We may reasonably develop or change functions.

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law provides otherwise. For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. This does not change mandatory consumer rights.

You may delete your account through the profile functions. We may restrict access where there is a concrete indication of misuse. Changes to these Terms will be communicated transparently where legally required. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer-protection rules remain unaffected.

We are willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before the Universal Consumer Arbitration Board of the Federal Government, Zentrum für Schlichtung e. V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, Germany, www.universalschlichtungsstelle.de.
