Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 September 2026

1. Principle

Zonekey uses technically necessary cookies and similar storage technologies so that sign-in, language selection, security functions and settings work. We obtain consent before using technologies that are not necessary.

2. Necessary storage

Better Auth uses session and security cookies with the prefix “zonekey” for sign-in and session security. The “locale” cookie stores the selected language for up to one year. The browser may also store “i18nextLng”, the “zonekey-cookie-consent” choice, and table-view preferences in local storage.

The legal basis for necessary access to terminal equipment is Section 25(2) TDDDG; the subsequent processing follows the applicable legal basis under Article 6 GDPR.

3. Optional analytics

With your consent, Zonekey uses Google Analytics 4 provided by Google LLC through Google Tag Manager. The Google tag and Tag Manager container are loaded only after your documented Analytics opt-in. Google Analytics may store the first-party cookies “_ga” and “_ga_NM0BBCN23K” for up to two years and process online identifiers, browser and device data, IP-derived location and page or interaction data to produce aggregated usage statistics. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or marketing audiences.

4. Choices and withdrawal

You can reject non-essential technologies or change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal applies to the future, stops Google Analytics and removes its accessible first-party cookies. Necessary storage remains active where required for the service.
